The City's current General Plan Land Use Map is part of the 2005 General Plan. The Land Use Map provides land use designations for the entire city. The Watsonville Vista 2030 General Plan will replace the current Land Use Map and General Plan.
Document Description
Watsonville Vista 2030 is the City of Watsonville's update of the current General Plan. The plan estimates that the population will increase from 47,700 in 2003 to 70,418 by 2030 based on AMBAG forecasts. This population increase will require 5,700 new households and 7,500 new jobs. The Land Use Element establishes a series of land use designations that identifies the general parameters of allowable land uses in the community.
