The City proposes to reactivate the previously constructed and operated Charles E. Meyer Desalination Plant. The State Lands Commission action is a termination of the existing lease and an approval of a new 25-year General Lease - Public Agency Use through June 29, 2040, for the discharge of brine mixed with treated wastewater effluent through an existing 48-inch diameter pipeline on sovereign land.
