The Central Valley Regional Water Board is issuing a 401 Water Quality Certification for the subject Project. The Project consists of constructing an at-grade concrete ford crossing on an existing unpaved ranch road crossing Frisk Creek, which is an intermittent stream. A portion of the stream bed will be excavated, then backfilled with clean gravel and overlayed with concrete. The concrete ford will be 20 feet wide and 55 feet long. Two high density polyethylene pipes will be installed beneath the ford to protect an 18 inch diameter water and a 12 inch mined sand slurry pipeline.
