Document Description
The project is associated with the expansion of the G3 Byron Sand Mine and is limited to the following. The Project shall be limited to the construction of an at-grade, low water stream crossing of an intermittent drainage at Frisk Creek. The at-grade crossing shall consist of a 55 foot long 20 foot wide, 1-foot 6-inch thick concrete pad. The pad will rest on top of a one foot-six inch compacted gravel base road. The top of the concrete will be constructed to match the contour of the creek bed. The bed, bank, channel and adjacent terraced areas shall be excavated to a variable depth of 0 to 3 feet and shall remove approximately 122 cubic yards of soil over an impact area of 1,680 square feet. The gravel base will extend approximately 40 feet from both ends of the concrete pad. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2014-0432-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Applicant/Organization.
