Document Description
The northern terminus of the realigned road would occur at the intersection of Cienega Road and Old Bird Creek Road. The southern terminus of the new roadway would intersect just southwest of the intersection at Cowden Road and Hospital Road. Part of the realigned road would be constructed within the existing right-of-way; the remiander of the roadway would occur on land which the County would acquire. The rght-of-way for the new portion of Cienega Road would be 84 feet wide, with 28 foot wide asphalt road surface placed on 38 feet wide aggregate of road base material. theroad realignment would be approximately 3,000 feet long. The new right-of-way will encompass approximately 6 acres; the roadway will cover approximately 2.5 acres. The road will cross Bird Creek Gulch, an intermittent drainage, with a single span, pre-cast culvert/arch bridge. The abutments for the bridge will be constructed in-place and on-site.
