Document Description
On February 18, 2014, the City of Dublin City Council approved a General plan Amendment and Eastern Dublin Specific Plan Amendment that would result in future development of up to 437 single family residences on an approximately 64 acre site. The General Plan and Eastern Dublin Specific Plan amendments reallocate existing Medium High Density Residential and medium Density Residential land uses, reduce and change Open Space land uses to Rural Residential/Agriculture and increase the Stream Corridor designation. The environmental impacts of development of the Project area were previously analyzed under (1) the certified Eastern Dublin General Plan Amendment and Specific Plan Environmental Impact Report (SCH #91103064) (EDEIR); and (2) an adopted Negative Declaration (ND) for a Planned Development Rezoning of Dublin Ranch Areas B-E which include the Project site. The City Council adopted an Addendum to the EDEIR and ND, finding that no further CEQA review was required for the Project under Public Resource Code section 21166 and CEQA Guidelines sections 15162 and 15163.
