The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2005-0138-R6 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Ms. Laura Simonek of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. The applicant is proposing to maintain six sites as part of the ongoing Drainage Water Quality Management Plan for the Lake Matthews Watershed. The project will impact maintenance of the project area with ongoing impacts of up to 24.3 acres per year.
