The Potrero Creek Specific Plan involves the development of a maximum total of 11,870 residential dwelling units on 1919.9 acres, 35 acres of commercial use, 10 acres of office professional use, a 14 acre condominium hotel, a six acre civic center site, four elementary schools and one middle school on a total of 65 acres, two 18-hole golf courses on a total of 292 acres, 69 acres of neighborhood parks, 71 acres devoted to two community parks/nature centers, a 15 acre equestrian center, a 28 acre Sports Park, a 10 acre Recreation Lake, 19 acres of trails, 32 acres devoted to sewage treatment plants, 150 acres of internal roadways, and 6,381.1 acres of natural open space/conservation areas.
