THE COUNTY OF KERN IS APPLYING FOR PUBLIC LIBRARY CONSTRUCT BOND ACT FUNDS TO BUILD A NEW LIBRARY TO SERVE RESIDENTS IN THE FRAZIER PARK SERVICE AREA. THE PROPOSED 8,400 SQUARE- FOOT BUILDING ON A 1.8 ACRE SITE WILL REQUIRE A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT PURSUANT TO THE KERN COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE FACILITY WILL BE ADMINISTERED BY THE COUNTY OF KERN.
