Document Description
The Amended RAP proposes remediation of 232,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil from a 51 acre portion of the site identified as the Lagoon Soil Study Area (LSA). Soil in the LSA is contaminated with metals, VOCs, SVOC's and TPHs. The selected remedial alternative is soil excavation, stockpiling of soil in either of the three soil study areas (CCN, CSN, NSA) for eventual treatment of federal hazardous waste soils, and transportation, by rail, of contaminated soils to an off-site landfill for final disposal.
