Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a lake and streambed alteration agreement pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Diablo Grande Limited Partnership. The applicant proposes to amend agreement R4-046-00 according to the revised design for the West Salado Creek Wetland Mitigation Area. Within Salado Creek and the unnamed tributaries, the revised design will install a sediment trap above the upstream basin of the two large basins located within the mitigation corridor; create benches for planting riparian vegetation into the meandering berms, as well as along the sides of the basins; all flow events that pass through the system will be retained and ponded by the berms in the basin chambers to establish seasonal wetlands and associated vegetation; create a wider vegetative buffer along the southeast side of the upstream basin.
