CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agremeent (SAA#6-2003-097) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code with the project applicant. The applicant proposes to construct HOV lanes, freeway to freeway connectors, interchange reconfiguration, ramp widening and removal of several interchanges, and upgrades to current highway standards. The streambeds will be impacted through the placement of rock slope protection, construction of box culverts, and trenching and grading activities from along Interstate Route 215 in the City of Riverside. The project would temporarily impact 2.94 acres and permanently impact 1.44 acres of streambed and riparian habitat.
