Document Description
Caltrans proposes to realign and widen 4.5 miles of SR 180 from 0.7 miles east of Smith Avenue to 0.7 miles east of Frankwood Avenue near the communities of Centerville and Minkler in Fresno County. The purpose of the project is to improve continuity, safety, and capacity by widening the existing 2-lane conventional highway to a 4-lane expressway. New right of way will be acquired from agricultural lands, business/residential properties, state and county properties. Some existing SR180 right of way will be abandoned. The project includes residential/maintenance access roads, utility easements, and new crossings constructed over 8 waterways.
