Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment No. 8, a major amendment to the already amended Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) number 1600-2013-0194-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicant, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The Project involves activities related to roadway realignment and widening work on SR 180 where it crosses over the Centerville-Kingsburg Canal, China Slough, Collins Creek, the Kings River, Cameron Slough, Byrd Slough, the Carmelita Canal, and the Mount Campbell Canal. This Major Amendment No. 8 allows Caltrans an alternative method of satisfying their mitigation obligation under the Agreement and reflects a change in the Project Description as it pertains to existing culverts conveying China Slough (Location #2).
