CDFW has executed Amendment No. 1, a minor amendment to Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) number 1600-2013-0194-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Caltrans. The Project involves activities related to roadway realignment and widening work on SR 180 where it crosses over the Centerville-Kingsburg Canal, China Slough, Collins Creek, the Kings River, Cameron Slough, Byrd Slough, the Carmelita Canal, and the Mount Campbell Canal. SAA number 1600-2013-0194-R4 originally included avoidance and minimization measures and reporting requirement for San Joaquin kit fox (SJKF) included in error, and required mitigation at lands other than the Layne property so long as those lands are approved in advance by CDFW.
