THE LA POSTA RECYCLING CENTER (LPRC) IS A WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY PROPOSED TO BE DEVELOPED AND OPERATED ON THE LA POSTA RESERVATION IN SOUTHEAST SAN DIEGO COUNTY. THE LPRC WOULD SERVE AS A REGIONAL WASTE TREATMENT AND RECYCLING FACILITY TO DEAL WITH SPECIFIC WASTE MANAGEMENT NEEDS. PRIMARY EMPHASIS OF THE FACILITY WILL BE ON RECYCLING, BOTH IN TERMS OF RETURNING WASTE PRODUCTS OR BY-PRODUCTS IN THE TREATMENT OF OTHER WASTES. 30 TOTAL ACRES.
