THE BAY AREA AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT, IN COOPERATION WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION, AND THE ASSOCIATION OF BAY AREA GOVERNMENTS, IS PREPARING THE 1991 CLEAN AIR PLAN. THE 1991 CAP WILL OUTLINE A REGIONAL STRATEGY FOR ATTAINING AND MAINTAINING COMPLIANCE WITH STATE AMBIENT AIR QUALITY STANDARDS FOR GROUND LEVEL OZONE AND CARBON MONOXIDE.
