REPAIR OF APPROX. 600 FT. OF ROADWAY ALONG STATE ROUTE 1 BETWEEN MUIR BEACH AND STINSON BEACH IN MARIN COUNTY THAT WAS DAMAGED BY A LANDSLIDE. PROPOSED REPAIR WORK INVOLVES RELOCATING THE 250 FT. INLAND ONTO STABLE MATERIAL AND DIS- POSING OF ABOUT 500,000 CUBIC YARDS OF CUT SLOPE BELOW THE EXISTING ALIGNMENT INTO ADJACENT COASTAL OCEAN WATERS.
