PROPOSAL IS TO CANTILEVER A BIKE LANE OVER THE EDGE OF THE BAY FARM ISLAND (SAN LEANDRO CHANNEL) BRIDGE. THE BRIDGE WILL CONNECT EXISTING AND PROPOSED BIKE LANES THAT RUN ALONG THE SHORELINE ON BOTH ENDS OF THE BRIDGE. THE PLAN INCLUDES ADDING 150 CUBIC YARDS OF SOIL TO LEVEL OUT THE APPROACHES TO THE BRIDGE.
