PROPOSED PROJECT IS CLOSING TWO HAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE TANKS. THE TANKS WERE USED TO STORE BOTH HAZARDOUS AND NON-HAZARDOUS WASTES FROM THE SHELL REFINERY AND CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS. THIS WILL BE A CLEAN CLOSURE, I.E., NO HAZARDOUS WASTE IS LEFT ON SITE.
