PROJECT TO REHABILITATE PORTIONS OF THE CITY'S WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM TO ELIMINATE WATER LOSSES CAUSED BY LEAKING WATER LINES. PROJECT WILL INVOLVE THE REPLACEMENT OF 6,000 FT. OF EXISTING MAIN LINE CONSISTING OF 1" TO 6" STEEL OR GALVANIZED PIPE WITH NEW 6" DIAMETER PVC PIPE. A 40-YEAR OLD 8" DIAMETER STEEL FEED LINE TO THE MAIN WATER RESERVOIR WILL ALSO BE REPLACED WITH 8" DIAMETER PVC PIPE. ALL WORK TO OCCUR WITH EXISTING STREETS OR RIGHTS OF WAY.
