The project involves construction of a 4 lane freeway bypass around the City of Willits between Post Mile (PM) R43.1 and PM R49.0 on U.S. Highway 101. The Project will result in permanent impacts to 2.38 acres and temporary impacts to 8.15 acres of riparian habitat on streams supporting Southern Oregon-Northern California Coasts (SONCC) coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) and will result in the permanent semaphore grass; species protected by CESA.
