PROJECT WILL OPEN THIS PROPERTY (WHICH WILL SOON BE A STATE PARK) FOR HIKING AND PASSIVE RECREATION, TO BOTH ABLE-BODIED AND DISABLED PEOPLE. THE PROJECT INCLUDES A LOOP TRAIL ALMOST A MILE LONG DESIGNED FOR WHEELCHAIR-RESTRICTED AND MOTION-IMPAIRED USERS. ANOTHER MILE-LONG, DIRT FOOTPATH WILL CONNECT THIS PROPERTY TO THE RUSSIAN GULCH UNIT OF THE STATE PARK. PICNIC TABLES, A CHEMICAL TOILET AND A PARKING LOT ARE PART OF THIS PROJECT TOO.
