THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT IS APPLYING FOR A SOLID WASTE FACILITIES PERMIT REVISION THAT WOULD INCREASE THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DAILY TONNAGE DELIVERED TO THE LANDFILL FROM THE CURRENTLY PERMITTED 233 TONS PER DAY TO AN AVERAGE DAILY TOMMAGE OF 365 TONS PER DAY AND A MAXIMUM DAILY TOMMAGE OF 600 TONS PER DAY. IN ADDITION, THE OPERATOR WILL DECREASE SITE OPERATION HOURS FROM 8.5 TO 4.5 HOURS PER DAY (MON. THRU SAT.).
