THE PROJECT IS THE ACQUISITION OF THE PROPOSED 14.5-ACRE SITE AND THE SUBSEQUENT CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF A NEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPUS IN HANFORD. THE PROPOSED SCHOOL WILL TENTAIVELY BE AVAILABLE FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 1994-95 WITH 40,500 SQUARE FEET OF BUILDING SPACE THAT INCLUDES 17 CLASSROOMS, AN ADMINISTRATION CENTER, A LIBRARY AND OTHER VARIOUS ANCILLARY ROOMS. THE PLANNED INITIAL CAPACITY OF THE SCHOOL WILL BE 650 STUDENTS.
