THE PROJECT IS INTENDED TO AMEND THE EXISTING REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 1 IN ORDER TO: 1) INCREASE THE TIME FOR INCURRING INDEBTEDNESS, 2) INCREASE THE LIMITATION ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TAX INCREMENT DOLLARS THE AGENCY MAY COLLECT FROM THE PROJECT AREA AND 3) EXTEND THE TIME FOR EXERCISE OF EMINENT DOMAIN WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA.
