CGPA 290 ADOPTS THE GROWTH FORECASTS OF THE SCAG 1989 REGIONAL GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN INTO THE LAND USE AND REGIONAL ELEMENTS. THEY WILL REPLACE THE PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED SCAG-82 GROWTH FORECASTS. LANGUAGE HAS BEEN ADDED OR MODIFIED IN THE LAND USE AND REGIONAL ELEMENTS WHICH BETTER DESCRIBES REGIONAL PLANNING EFFORTS AND TERMINOLOGY. INFORMATIONAL MAPS IN BOTH THE LAND USE AND REGIONAL ELEMENTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO REFLECT CURRENT SCAG GROWTH FORECASTS AND SPECIFIC REGIONAL GEOGRAPHIC DESIGNATIONS.
