THE PROJECT IS CONSTRUCTION OF A RECTANGULAR CONCRETE CHANNEL BEGINNING AT EXISTING CONCRETE BOX CULVERTS AT PHILADELPHIA STREET (ELY BASINS) AND EXTENDING EAST FOR 2600 FEET TO THE CONFLUENCE WITH CUCAMONGA CHANNEL TO REPLACE THE EXISTING EARTHEN CHANNEL WITH RAIL AND WIRE REVETMENT. CONSTRUCTION WILL INCLUDE CONCRETE BOX CULVERTS AT THE DIP IN THE SERVICE ROAD AT THE EAST END OF THE PROJECT. IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CHANNEL WILL INCREASE FLOW CONDITIONS.
