DAIRY IS PROPOSED TO HOUSE 1,200 HEAD OF MILK COWS. DAIRY STOCK WITH SUPPORT STOCK EQUALS 1.857 ANIMAL UNITS, PROJECT SITE IS 160 ACRES WITH THE DAIRY ON THE EASTERLY 80 ACRES AND REMAINING 80 ACRES USED FOR CROP PRODUCTION. WATER IS PROPOSED BY ON-SITE WELL; DOMESTIC SEWAGE WILL BE DISPOSED BY SEPTIC SYSTEM. WHILE ANIMAL WASTES WILL BY COLLECTED INTO TWO ON- SITE SUMPS, THE LIQUID WILL BE USED FOR IRRIGATING FORAGE AND SOLIDS USED OR SOLD FOR MANURE. ACCESS IS OFF OF BEAR MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD (STATE ROUTE 223).
