THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT DEPT. IS APPLYING FOR A SOLID WASTE FACILITIES PERMIT REVISION THAT WOULD INCREASE THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DAILY TONNAGE DELIVERED TO THE LANDFIL FROM THE CURRENTLY PERMITTED 235 TONS PER DAY TO AN AVERAGE OF 726 TONS PER DAY AND A MAXIMUM ALLOWABE TONNAGE OF 3000 TONS PER DAY. ADDITIONALLY, AN INCREASE IN OPERATING HOURS IS PROPOSED. HOURS COULD EXTEND FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M. THOUGH THE SITE WOULD ONLY OPERATE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
