Document Description
Establish an ultralight vehicle training school at the Modesto City-County Airport. The proposed training school would use existing Airport facilities, with no new physical construction required. The proposed project would include the adoption of an ultralight Operations Policy governing how flights are to be operated and an amendment to the Modesto Municipal Code to allow ultralight vehicles to fly in and around the airport on a "regular and frequent" basis. The proposed policy and amendments would require ultralight operators to execute a letter of Agreement with the City of Modesto Airport Manager and Air Traffic Manager, and abide by an Ultralight Operations Policy that will strictly govern flight patterns and operations.
