THE PROPOSED PROJECT CONSISTS OF ACQUISTION OF LAND ADJACENT TO CLIFTON COURT FOREBAY THAT IS SUITABLE FOR ENLARGEMENT OF THE FOREBAY. THOSE WILLING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT SHALL BE OFFERED A PURCHASE PRICE FOR THEIR PROPERTY. ABOUT 3,000 ACRES WILL BE NEEDED FOR FOREBAY ENLARGEMENT. ADDITION AL LAND WILL ALSO BE NEEDED FOR MITIGATION. ARRANGEMENT WILL BE MADE TO MAINTAIN CURRECT LAND USE OF ACQUIRED PARCEL UNTIL AFTER THE SOUTH DELTA WATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ENVIRO- MENTAL DOCUMENT IS COMPLETED.
