Document Description
The Coachella Valley Enterprise Zone project includes the reauthorization and expansion of the Coachella Valley Enterprise Zone. The Enterprise Zone program is managed by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), and targets economically distressed areas throughout California. The program is intended to revive the local economy by providing tax incentives for private sector development. The County of Riverside and the Cities of Indio and Coachella have established the Coachella Enterprise Zone Authority (CVEZA) through a Joint Powers Agreement to administer the current Enterprise Zone.
