THE PROJECT PROPOSES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 16,000 SQ. FT, 52FT. HIGH RELIGIOUS TEMPLE AND GROUNDS FOR A SIKH RELIGIOUS SOCIETY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LIVINGSTON. THE TEMPLE WOULD BE A REGIONAL FACIFITY SERVING THE SIKH POPULATIONS OF STANISLAUS, MERCED, AND MADERA COUNTIES AND DRAWING VISITORS STATEWIDE. THE USE OF THE TEMPLE IS FOR WEEKLY WORSHIP AND SPECIAL OCCATIONS, I.E. RELIGIOUS CERE- MONIES, SOCIAL GATHERINGS, AND CONFERENCES.
