THE PROPOSED ACTION IS FOR THE USE OF HANGAR 763 AT NORTON AFB BY LOCKHEED CORPORATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF MODIFICATION AND MAINTENANCE OF COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFTS. THE HANGAR CONSIST OF 4 DOCKS AND CURRENTLY IS USE BY THE AIR FORCE FOR THE SAME PURPOSE. APPROX. 970 PERSONNEL ARE EXPECTED TO BE EMK- PLOYED BY LOCKHEED. LOCKHEED WILL LEASE THE HANGAR FROM IVDA UNDER A 50-YEAR LEASE INN 1994 WHEN THE AIR FORCE VACATES THE BASE.
