The Wister Pond Sport Fishery Mitigation Project proposes the construction of a 5-acre sport fishery pond at CDFG's Imperial Wildlife Area-Wister Unit in lieu of the artificial reef construction within the Coachella Canal as originally proposed in the Coachella Canal Lining Project's Environmental Impact Report approved in March 2001.
