Document Description
California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2004-0074-R6 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Coachella Valley Water District. The proposed project consists of the construction of a new concrete-lined canal parallel and adjacent to the westerly side of the existing canal and continuous from up to 500 feet upstream of Siphon 7 to just downstream of Siphon 32, a distance of approximately 36.5 miles of which approximately 35 miles is new lined canal, and 1.5 miles is replaced siphons.
