DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF SPRINKLING THE OWENS LAKE IN ADVANCE OF WIND STORMS TO CONTROL DUST EMISSIONS. UP TO ONE SQUARE MILE OF LAKE BED WILL BE COVERED WITH SOLID-SET SPRINKLERS. PIPELINES WILL TAKE THE WATER FROM WELLS ON THE LAKE SHORE TO THE SPRINKLER SITES. POWER LINES WILL BE INSTALLED FROM EXISTING LINES TO THE WELLS.
