RIVERSIDE COUNTY WASTE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT IS APPLYING FOR A SOLID WASTE PERMIT REVISION THAT WOULD INCREASE THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DAILY TONNAGE DELIVERED TO THE LANDFILL FROM THE CURRENT 10 TONS PER DAY TO A MAXIMUM 40 TONS PER DAY. ADDITIONALLY, AN INCREASE IN OPERATING HOURS IS PROPOSED; HOURS COULD EXTEND FROM 6:00 AM TO 8:00 PM, THOUGH THE SITE WOULD ONLY OPERATE DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS.
