THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF AN EXISTING EARTHEN CHANNEL AND BASIN. THE SITE IS LOCATED EAST OF STERLING AVE. ON MARSHALL BLVD. AND EXTENDS NORTH TO FOOTHILL DR. IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE RELOCATION OF THE CHANNEL, NEW LEVEE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BASIN, AND SPILLWAY THESE IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCREASE FLOOD CONTROL CAPABILITY AN D WATER RETENTION CAPACITY.
