SIERRA COLLEGE IS PROPOSING AN EXPANSION OF AN EXISTING 1,583 SPACE PARKING LOT TO ACCOMMODATE UP TO AN ADDITIONAL 1,230 PARKING STALLS. THE COMBINED TOTAL NUMBER OF SPACES THAT WOULD BE 2,813 SPACES. EXPANDED PARKING AREA WILL INCLUDE A REDESIGN OF THE EXISTING PARKING LOT AND LAND- SCAPING FEATURES TO IMPROVE THE APPEARANCE OF THE PARKING AREAS. NEW WALKWAYS WILL BE INSTALLED TO ALLOW EFFICIENT PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENTS FROM THE PARKED CARS TO CAMPUS FACILITIES.
