THIS PROJECT ENTAILS THE CONSTRUCTION OF A GRAVITY RETAINING WALL (1,450 LINEAR FEET BY AN AVERAGE HEIGHT OF 16 FEET) IN A NATURAL EMBANKMENT ALONG THE VALENCIA WATER RECLAMATION PLANT PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE SANTA CLARA RIVER. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT IS TO CONTROL EROSION OF THE PLANT PROPERTY DUE TO THE RIVER OVERFLOWING ITS BANKS DURING IN- TENSE STROM PERIODS.
