Document Description
The Project involves the partial development of the Project site into three industrial buildings with additional infrastructure and off-site road improvements. Additional Project features that will be constructed within the Project site include four on-site stormwater basins, two off-site stormwater basins, parking stalls, driveways, an elevated dirt berm, and a revetment wall. A 12.21-acre Joshua Tree Preservation Area and 10.82 - acre Undeveloped Area will be set aside within the Project site. The Project will result in impacts to 111.84 acres of western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia) habitat including temporary impacts to 29.73 acres; the Project will permanently remove 82.11 acres of western Joshua tree habitat. The Project will also result in impacts to 116.72 acres of Mohave ground squirrel (Spermophilus mohavensis) habitat including temporary impacts to 23.03 acres; the Project will permanently remove 93.69 acres of Mohave ground squirrel habitat.
