Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) adopted an Addendum to the previous Negative Declaration, and approved the Class 2 permit modification to amend the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit (Permit) for Phibro-Tech, Inc. (PTI) to include Tank C-40, Tank C-40, with a capacity of 3,525 gallons, stores and treats process wastewater from the treatment of RCRA hazardous waste. Tank C-40 is already in operation and is used to manage RCRA hazardous waste under temporary authorization issued on April 6, 2018, and extended on October 1, 2018. There is no increase in the treatment capacity and no changes to the physical environment as a result of the approval of the Class 2 permit modification.
