THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS AN OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE AREA IN THE SANTA YNEZ RIVER BOTTOM JUST NORTH OF THE CITY LIMITS OF LOMPOC. THE OHV AREA WOULD BE MADE UP OF CITY-OWNED LAND, CALTRANS RIGHT-OF-WAY, AND PRIVATE LAND TO BE PURCHASED AS PART OF THE FACILITY. ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT FUNDING WOULD COME FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFF HIGHWAY GRANT FUND. AS CURRENTLY PROPOSED, THE CITY OF LOMPOC WOULD OPERATE THE FACILITY.
