Document Description
The project proposes the reactivation of the previously approved and constructed Charles E. Meyer Desalination Plant. The project would bring the facility back into service from its standby mode condition, to initially produce 3,125 AFY, and potentially up to 7,500 AFY, of potable water for drought relief. The Reactivation Project involves no expansion of use or increased capacity above that previously reviewed, analyzed and approved for the existing facility. The Reactivation Project involves maintenance, repair, replacement and upgrades of equipment and other project components that would be located in the same general location for the same or similar use, and be of similar size and height, as previously approved.
