THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION BY THE YEAR 1997 OF AN 18 MGD WATER RECLAMATION PLANT TO BE LOCATED IN THE SANTEE BASIN. RECLAIMED WATER PRODUCED BY THIS PLANT WOULD MEET OR EXCEED THE STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT'S TITLE 22 REQUIREMENTS FOR UN- RESTRICTED BODY CONTACT. THE PLANT WOULD BE EXPANDED TO A TOTAL CAPACITY OF 24 MGD BY THE YEAR 2010. PROJECT COMPON- ENTS WOULD INCLUDE ADVANCED WASTEWATER TREATMENT, PUMP, STATIONS, RECLAIMED WATER PIPELINES, STORAGE BASINS, AND SLUDGE PIPELINES.
