CONSTRUCTION OF A JOINT DOMESTIC WATER TRANSMISSION PIPELINE TO MEET THE PROJECTED DEMANDS WITHIN THE SOUTH COAST WATER DISTRICT AND THE TRI-CITIES MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR EXISTING AND ALREADY APPROVED PROJECTS. THE PROPOSED PROJECT WILL ALSO ALLEVIATE PRESENT WATER SHORTAGES EXPERIENCED DURING PEAK SUMMER DEMAND PERIODS AND TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE EMERGENCY SUPPLIES.
