INITIAL CONSTRUCTION WOULD WIDEN THE EXISTING 4-LANE DIVIDED EXPRESSWAY TO A 6-LANE FREEWAY AND PROVIDE LOCAL INTERCHANGES AT REO DRIVE/VALLEY ROAD, WOODMAN STREET AND BRIARWOOD DRIVE. THE INITIAL MEDIAN WIDTH WOULD ACCOMMODATE AT A LATER DATE TWO ADDITIONAL LANES FOR MIXED TRAFFIC AND TWO ADDITIONAL LANES FOR HIGH OCCUPANCY VEHICLES
