PROPOSED RECLAMATION PLAN FOR THE MCGRATH SAND MINE IN LAKESIDE HAS BEEN PREPARED TO COMPLY WITH THE CALIFORNIA SURFACE MINING AND RECLAMATION ACT AND THE STANDARDS IN THE SAN DIEGO ZONING AND GRADING ORDINANCES. PROPOSED RECLAMA- TION PLAN WOULD PROVIDE FOR RECLAIMING THE SITE PROGRESSIVE- LY, AS SAND MINING OCCURS. PROPOSED RECLAMATION PLAN INCLUDES BACKFILLING THE EXCAVATED AREAS WITH AN ESTIMATED 560,000 CY OF FILL MATERIAL, TO THE APPROXIMATE GRADE AND ELEVATIONS TTHAT CURRENTLY EXIST ON THE SITE.
